Season's Greetings from RCS

Dear RCS Families and Community Partners,

As we approach the holiday break, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible partnership you've shown our district throughout this fall.

This season brings many celebrations. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and other cherished traditions all remind us of the values that unite us as a community: hope, joy, generosity, and love for our neighbors. For me, Christmas holds special meaning as a time to reflect on the blessings we've been given and the ways we can serve others. In that spirit, I am deeply moved by the extraordinary generosity so many of you have demonstrated.

To our community partners, local organizations, businesses, and families who have gone above and beyond to ensure that every RCS family can experience the joy and warmth of this holiday season, thank you. Your donations, your time, your resources, and your compassion have made a profound difference in the lives of our students and families. You have embodied the true spirit of the season by ensuring that no family feels forgotten or alone during this special time of year.

Throughout these past months, we've seen our community come together piece by piece to support our children and one another. Your partnership with our schools strengthens everything we do and reminds us that our children thrive when we stand together in support of them.

As you gather with loved ones in the coming weeks, I hope you find rest, renewal, and moments of genuine peace. May this season fill your homes with warmth, your hearts with joy, and your spirits with hope for the year ahead.

Thank you for being part of the RCS family and for making our district a place where every person is valued and cared for. The kindness you've shown reflects the very best of our community, and we are blessed to walk this journey together.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season and a bright new year.

With gratitude and warmest regards,

Craig P. Chandler
