We are reminding families about some important district dates and transportation events that are coming up in the month of February. If you have any questions, please reach out to your student’s main office. |

Early Dismissal and Closures |
Thursday, February 5: Early Dismissal PK-12 (Staff Development Half Day)
|
- Students will eat lunch prior to dismissal.
- Parent pick-up will begin at 12:20 p.m., and students who take the bus will be dismissed following parent pick-up.
- Buses depart at 12:30 p.m.
- Parents/guardians should be prepared for their students to be home 3 hours earlier.
|
Middle and High School: Students will be dismissed at 11:06 a.m. and will eat lunch prior to dismissal. All student are expected to leave campus and return for their later scheduled events; they cannot remain at school. |
February 16 through 20: No School (February Recess) |
Classes resume Monday, February 23. |
Use the Stopfinder for updated information on your student's daily transportation assignments.
Please contact transportation@rcscsd.org if you haven’t received an email invitation to register for Stopfinder, or if you have any questions regarding your student’s schedule.

Board of Education Meeting |
The RCS Board of Education will hold a meeting on Wednesday, February 4, in person in the High School Library. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:45 p.m. for those attending in person.
The meeting agenda will be available on BoardDocs. Additional public access to the meeting will begin at approximately 6:00 p.m. via live stream. Please note that the live stream link will only be active during the meeting. Within 1–2 days following the meeting, a recording will be available on the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District YouTube Channel

| Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Enrollment Period Begins |
The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School District is pleased to announce that registration for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year is about to begin!
The official enrollment period runs from February 6 through March 27, 2026. During this time, families should visit the District website to review registration instructions, complete all required forms, and submit the necessary documentation to the District Registrar. Registering within this official window is strongly encouraged.

| AWB Presents Disney's Aladdin Kids |
A.W. Becker Elementary School is proud to present Disney’s Aladdin Kids, a lively stage adaptation of the beloved 1992 Disney film Aladdin. This exciting production brings the magic of Agrabah to life through colorful costumes, memorable music, and the incredible talents of A.W. Becker’s student performers.
Performances will take place at A.W. Becker Elementary School on Friday, February 6, at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, February 7, at 2:00 p.m.
The production is free and open to all. Doors will open 45 minutes prior to each performance. Please contact Casey Kobello at ckobello@rcscsd.org for admission information and accessible seating requests.

| In-Person Registration for Continuing Education |
RCS offers Continuing Education courses for the community each fall and spring. In-person registration for Spring 2026 will be held on Tuesday, February 10, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the Aquatics Center Lobby, located at the rear of the RCS High School near the stadium.
