District Wide Food Collection Drive

The Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School has organized a District Wide Food Collection Drive to support the RCS Backpack Program, which provides assistance for families facing food insecurity at this time.

Each RCS school has volunteers who organize, lead, and advocate for families in need, and we’re inviting our community to join them. Together, we can keep our Backpack Program stocked and strong, providing the nourishment support for our families who rely on our weekly backpack program.

How To Donate

Donate any of the items listed below by dropping them off in the collection bins located at each RCS building during school hours or events.

We’ll be collecting donations through Friday, December 5.

We appreciate your generosity and kindly request that you only donate items needed on the list below.

RCS Backpack Food Items Needed:

Granola bars
Mac & cheese cups
Instant oatmeal
Dried pasta
Cereal
Peanut Butter
Canned:
- proteins (ex: tuna)
- soups
- fruits
- vegetables

Please place all food donations in the designated boxes in each building.

RCS will be collecting donations until Friday, December 5th.
