Kadance, a 12th-grade student and President of the National Art Honor Society, has had an outstanding year, culminating in the completion of her AP Drawing portfolio, her second AP art course! A driven and self-motivated artist, Kadance consistently pushes herself to grow and refine her craft.
In addition to her academic achievements, Kadance made significant contributions to her school community. She designed the Mean Girls logo for this year’s High School Drama Club production and played a key role in creating the logo for the 2025 Youth Art Month (YAM) Summit. Her talents were also recognized in two prestigious art competitions: the Columbia-Greene High School Art Competition and the Congressional Art Competition, hosted by Congressman Paul Tonko.
The RCS High School Art Department will truly miss Kadance next year, but we are confident that she will continue to create exceptional artwork and inspire others with her creativity and dedication.
