Celebrating RCS High School Student Artists From The 2025–2026 School Year |
The Artist of the Month program at RCS High School recognizes students who demonstrate hard work and dedication in developing their artistic skills. Each month, we celebrate and highlight artists who come to class each day focused, actively participate in class, and help create a positive atmosphere for their peers.
We’re excited to recognize the talented students selected for the 2025–2026 school year!

Artist of the Month: Joseph D’Ambrosio |
Joey is an 11th-grade student who has been utilizing his interests to help drive his artwork. He has a great sense of light and color, which can be seen in both his photographs and drawings. Joey is always respectful and kind to both his teachers and peers. We are impressed with him continually taking his own reference photos and look forward to seeing what he creates next. |

Artist of the Month: Colleen Teetsel |
Colleen is one of our busiest Art students! Often staying 10th period to work on independent projects, she is also the Secretary of the National Art Honor Society and enrolled in Studio & Art 2! Colleen is very dedicated to her artwork and is always growing her talents. Currently, she is working on fashion design in her free time. We are very proud of the kindness she shows to her peers, educators, and younger students. She is the first to volunteer her time and is always smiling.
